<p>The Great Lakes Cassava Initiative operates in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda with the goal of distributing healthy cassava planting material of farmer-accepted disease-tolerant varieties to 1.15 million farm families.
