Windows of Hope

The Windows of Hope curriculum is intended to support life skills and HIV and AIDS activities.  The original publication was produced by the Ministry of Basic Education, Sport and Culture by the Namibia HIV and AIDS Management Unit. CRS Sierra Leone adapted Windows of Hope for an after school pilot program.

  •  The Green “I/We” Window is designed to build self-esteem and self-confidence.
  • The Yellow “Window of Change” addresses the many changes that children go through from ages 8 and up.
  • The Blue “Yes/No” Window aims to empower children to make healthy decisions and to voice those choices.
  • The Red “Power” Window emphasizes the power of knowledge, the power of good decisions and the power of a culture of caring.
