Youth
More young people are growing up in developing countries than ever before. Communities that already struggle with extreme poverty, instability, conflict and natural disasters now face the immense challenge of providing security and essential services for this new generation.
Catholic Relief Services embraces a holistic approach to helping highly vulnerable children and youth. Our programs improve the well-being of young people by promoting better health, sanitation, education and livelihoods. CRS works with partners to reduce youth exploitation, improve food security, provide care and treatment for people living with HIV and AIDS, develop microbusinesses, increase civic participation and strengthen young peoples' abilities to build a more just and peaceful world.
